How to put PeakHub into update (DFU) mode

Use either method — both leave PeakHub in the STM32 bootloader:

A. From powered off

With the hub powered off, hold the BT button and attach a USB-C cable to the DATA port. Keep BT held until connected, then release.

B. While powered on

With the hub powered on and the DATA port connected via USB-C, hold BT, briefly press RESET, then release BT.

Then click Connect & flash below and choose theSTM32 BOOTLOADER (a.k.a. “DFU in FS Mode”) device.

Windows: a one-time WinUSB driver bind (viaZadig) may be required for the browser to access the bootloader. macOS and Linux need no driver.

When flashing finishes, PeakHub restarts automatically into the new firmware.

Your 8-character device ID is printed on the back of the hub, or read it in Python with hub.system.short_id().

Firmware is proprietary and unlocked per device. Your ID is checked on our server; it is never shared or made public.
