About sciro

sciro builds robotics building blocks: a programmable hub and a growing family of smart sensors, designed to be approachable for learners and capable enough for serious tinkering. The system is compatible in spirit with construction platforms you may already know — and extends them in new directions.

The name

sciro (also written SciRo) is short forSciurus Robotics. Sciurus is the Latin name of the squirrel — which is why you find a small squirrel on every one of our devices. We design them in Switzerland.

What's here today

This site presents the products and lets you look after them from your browser: update the firmware of the hub, the FloorPro and the wireless adapter, give your hub a name, and protect its Bluetooth connection with a PIN. The API documentation for programming is linked in the footer.
